The McKinney Boyd Wrestling Booster Club exists to:
a Encourage interest and participation McKinney Boyd High School wrestling program.
a Enable excellence and foster pride for our student-athletes in the classroom and on the mat.
a Embody the importance of team spirit and sportsmanship.
a Provide transparent and accountable financial support.
President
a Presides at Booster Club meetings, as well as general parents meetings, and
schedules such meetings as considered necessary.
a Manage daily business relating to the Booster Club.
a Appoints committees as considered necessary.
a Acts as liaison between the booster club and wrestling coaching staff.
a Oversees the activities of other club officers and committees as necessary.
a Oversight of club finances as described in the club’s financial policies, including
audit of bank statement reconciliation monthly.

Vice President
a Backup for duties of President.

Treasurer
a Maintain accurate records of all receipts and disbursements and present a
report at each meeting of the club officers.
a Collect all revenue / fees and make bank deposits.
a Prepare checks for all disbursements after verification of their propriety.
a Reconcile the bank statement monthly.
a Ensures that all tax and other regulatory filings are completed accurately and on
a timely basis.
a Collect money at end of each day of concessions, and provide change and cash
boxes for concession stand.

Secretary
a Record and publish minutes of meetings of club officers and of general parent
meetings.
a Responsible for correspondence on behalf of the booster club.
a Prepare / distribute notices of upcoming meetings.
a Keep hard copy record of all minutes, correspondence, rosters, registrations,
etc.
a Maintain telephone calling tree and roster.
a Keep the volunteer log book.
